My name is Anie Ibekwe and I have been teaching at Perris Union High School District for the past 18 years, most of those years have been here at Perris High School. Over the years, I have taught Biology, Principles of Biomedical Sciences, Human Body Systems, and Anatomy & Physiology. This year, I’ll be teaching Biology, Principles of Biomedical Sciences, and Anatomy & Physiology.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Washington State University, and a Master’s degree in Environmental Education from California State University, San Bernardino.

When I’m not teaching, I love to read, follow current events, travel and spend time with my family and friends.

I’m a little sad that we’re starting out this year unconventionally, but I’m also looking forward to exploring new and exciting ways of helping my students learn at home. We are all in this together, and I know it will all work out. Let’s make this year count!
