PUHSD recognizes that early marriage, pregnancy, or parenting may disrupt a student’s education and increase the chance of a student dropping out of school. PUHSD desires to support married, pregnant, and parenting students to continue their education, attain strong academic and parenting skills, and promote the healthy development of their children. In compliance with the principles and components of Educational Equity, pregnant, parenting or married students are allowed to attend their comprehensive school site and continue to have access to all courses, programs and activities offered at that site. They are not required to attend or participate in an alternative site or program.
