New This Year:

  • Talkspace - a new way to seek mental health support through text and web messaging.  This benefit is in addition to the mental health benefits provided under the Anthem or Kaiser plan and in addition to the Anthem Employee Assistance Plan (EAP).  With Talkspace, you can choose your therapist from a list of recommended, licensed providers and receive support day and night from the convenience of your device (iOS, Android, and Web).  This benefit is available to you and your family members age 13 and over.  Talkspace provides unlimited text and voice messaging at no copayment with a personal therapist immediately after registration. Therapists engage daily, 5 days per week, which often includes weekends

  • Virtual Health Fair - We are bringing the fair to you! Airbo is an interactive platform that delivers information on your benefits.  We will be providing a link to this virtual fair where you can:
    • Visit the fair on your own schedule; No lines, no crowds, no time limits, no travel time

    • Visit “booths” and learn about the benefits available to you

    • Play games, watch videos, and earn points for raffle prizes

Plan updates and Resources:

  • Medical Eye Services (MES) NEW ENHANCED FRAME BENEFIT The Medical Eye Services plan has been enhanced to provide a frame and contact lens benefit allowance of $125 per calendar year.  This is an increase from $90 frame and $100 contact lens.  REEP provided this increase with no additional premium.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - This benefit is administered by Anthem Blue Cross for all employees of the district and immediate family members living in your household, even if you are a Kaiser member or not eligible for benefits. Anthem EAP provides the same benefits as MHN (5 in-person visits per incident per year and unlimited telephonic sessions).
