ABOUT ME:

Hello !! I am thrilled to say this is my 3rd year teaching Spanish at Pinacate Middle School (Go Pumas!!!) , and I love it. I am very excited to start my 9th year of teaching . I was born in Mexico, and when I was 12, my family decided to move to United States .  I come from a family of teachers and growing up seeing the love,and dedication to teach   their students  was the motivation for me to become a teacher as well. I love my job ,and I strongly believe in the power of education.  My goal is to be the best teacher and learner that I can be to ensure that my students are passionate learners and to empower them to become lifelong learners . When I am not teaching , I enjoy trying new foods, reading, watching and playing sports . I love watching movies, learning about people and cultures, and  spending time with my family. I have an incredible husband and two amazing kids.

¡Hola ! Mi nombre es Brenda Nievas. Estoy emocionada por decir que este es mi tercer enseñando español en la escuela secundaria Pinacate(vamos Pumas) y me encanta. Estoy muy contenta de comenzar mi noveno año enseñando. Nací en México y cuando tenía 12 años ,mi familia decidió venir a Estados Unidos. Vengo de una familia de maestros y crecí viendo el amor y la dedicación para enseñar a los alumnos que eso fue la motivación para que yo también  fuera maestra. Amo mi trabajo y creo firmemente en el poder de la educación. Mi objetivo es ser la mejor maestra y aprendiz para que mis alumnos lleguen a ser aprendices de por vida. Cuando no estoy enseñando, disfruto probar nuevos platillos, leer, ver y practicar deportes. Me encanta ver películas, aprender sobre países , personas  y sus culturas. Tengo un esposo increíble y dos hijos maravillosos.
