Welcome to a new school year!
Welcome to my Homepage. My name is German Loustaunau and I have been a public school teacher for 17 years. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a furniture manufacturer for 12 years. I was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico but raised in Riverside, CA. I won't divulge my birthday!!! My educational background includes: B.A. English Literature, B.A. Liberal Studies, M.A. TESOL: Education. Being that I am a first generation college student, I have had the privilege of graduating from CSU: San Bernardino. I have taught many English levels: 9-12th grade; E.S.L: Adult Education; MSJC College English. I enjoy challenging my students on a regular basis and truly want the best outcomes for each student. More importantly, I encourage my students to instill a unique imagination in terms of their life goals and chances. I believe that all students have the ability to succeed and accomplish their personal and educational goals. I am also the adviser of many clubs on campus: Ballet Folklorico Club, Chess Club, Cultural Club, etc. This year, I am excited to be a part of our new BARR program because of the unique opportunity to collaborate with other teachers to motivate students. My hobbies include: walking, hiking, weight lifting, and watching various sports, especially college football. However, I am a passionate musician. I enjoy picking up a variety of instruments: guitar, keyboard, and my favorite accordion!
Welcome to a school year and I look forward to meeting all of you soon!
