Welcome to Perris High School!

My name is Ms. Katheryn Perez.  You can call me Ms. Perez  or Coach Perez : )

I have been teaching Dance and Physical Education for 20 years. I have been a Teacher at Perris High since 2006. I received both my Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology and Single Subject Physical Education Teaching Credential from Cal State University Fullerton (Go Titans!!!).  I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Grand Canyon University, Arizona.

My life-

I love traveling, staying active and getting out doors to do fun stuff with my family. l love painting, dancing, outdoor sports & adventure activities! I actively participate in soccer, swimming, pilates, dancing, Taekwondo, running, mountain biking, surfing (still learning), hiking, climbing, and kayaking. I have been married for 31 years and I have two daughters: my oldest is a PE teacher and my youngest is a Junior in high school.

My Dance and Physical Education Classes...

I teach Level 1 & 2 Dance and Freshman PE.  Students can find all my announcements, assignments, and classwork on my Google Classroom. This new school year gives us a new opportunity to create fun-exciting lessons online.  I look forward to meeting each of my students and supporting them to improve their physical activity abilities. I am dedicated to creating a great learning experience that all my students can look forward to, so that they can have a healthy and fit future. 

*Ballet Folklorico Club...

I am the Club Advisor for the Ballet Folklorico Dance Club. We practice after school. We are always welcoming new students to join the club. We participate in many school and local events.
