I recently retired from the Active Army this year with the rank of First Sergeant. My professional academic development includes a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelors in Multidisciplinary Studies both from the University of Texas at El Paso. My professional military training includes the Master Leader Course, the Battle Staff Course, Combat Life Saver Course, Airborne Course, Air Assault Course, Instructor Course and others. My military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (5), the Army Commendation Medal (8), the Army Achievement Medal (9), Operation Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal with four Service Stars, and others.

My parents have lived in the city of Perris for over 20 years, making this great community my second home. I am married and have two children of my own in Elementary School. I am fluent in Spanish and am happy to accommodate any Spanish speaking parents or guardians in English or Spanish.
