Hello and Welcome!

This school year promises to be a unique opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to pioneer new ways of learning and teaching, and I am glad to be here for you! I teach SAI Basic Geometry, SAI Basic Life Science, and SAI Study Skills. 

My passion is teaching. As a teacher, you have the unique ability to help shape students and the future. I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to be a part of the change. I want to be a person who students can see as safe and supportive; a person who sees their ability and believes in them. I strive to see the whole child in his or her learning process, and my goal is to create a safe space where students can be themselves and take risk in their learning. I hope to empower them with strategies and help them to develop a desire to learn. 

It is humbling to watch students grow and transform. They truly show you what is possible with perseverance and the right support. I find myself ending the school day with a smile often, thinking back on their "Ah-Ha" moments or even just their humorous personalities, and being honored by the connections we have made.

I use Canvas for all my courses. All assignments can be found in your students Canvas Course.
