My name is Ms. Schmitt! This will be my 3rd year teaching and my 2nd year here at Perris High. I am one of the awesome Agriculture Teachers here at PHS and I am so excited to meet each and every one of you. I LOVE my dogs, I am a Star Wars Nerd, and love photography. I have a herd of boer goats at home where I breed and raise Show Goats (think of a beauty contest for goats) I graduated from Cal. Poly Pomona with my B.S. in Agriculture Science as well as my M.S. in Agriculture Science. This year I am teaching Agriculture Sciences and Systems,Ag. Biology, and Ag Mechanics. I coach the Livestock Judging Team for FFA and Impromptu Public Speaking Team. I am passionate about Agriculture Education because no matter what career path, culture, gender, or hometown, we are all connected by food. The FFA program provides young adults so many real world skills and opportunities that can give anyone a jump start to career readiness. I am so happy you are here!
