Welcome Back Panthers!!!!

I am excited to begin the new school year and look forward to getting to know you all and embarking upon this unique journey together. I am here to support your learning and growth!

A little about me:

My name is Ms. Diem and I have been teaching at Perris High School for 19 years and have taught every level of English and Intervention. This year I will be teaching English II and English 12 - ERWC.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in both English and Psychology and my teaching credential from the University of California, Riverside, and my Master’s Degree in Education, Adolescent Literacy from Concordia University.

Some of the things I like doing in my free time are cooking and trying new recipes, watching television and movies, reading and writing, listening to true crime podcasts, traveling, working out, doing yoga, and taking long walks with my best friend (Ms. Brusca), playing with my cat, and attending concerts and live performances. 

About our classes:  

In this course, we use Google Classroom, Canvas, Google Site, and NoREDInk. CHECK them daily!

Google Classroom is used for a majority of our classwork.

All formal writing assignments must be submitted digitally through Turnitin in Canvas.

Google Site is used for all course information and content including the course syllabus, daily/weekly agendas; resources; and units of study. 

NoREDInk is used for learning/practicing grammar and elements of English.
