Hello Wonderful Students and Parents!

My name is Viviana Stankus and I am committed to providing the best possible educational experience for all of my students. I have been an educator for 26 years and have spent the last 15 years of that time at Paloma Valley High School. Although the majority of my years as an educator has been spent teaching English, I’ve also had experience teaching English Language Development for non English speakers, and have even spent a year teaching history classes exclusively in Spanish.

Currently I teach English I and English III. I received my undergraduate degree in English from UCI, and continued my post-baccalaureate teacher education program there as well. A few years later I continued my studies and received a Masters in Educational Administration from National University.

Please know that I welcome parental input. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at I will make every attempt to respond within 48 hours, but usually sooner. I want to make sure every student has an equal opportunity to succeed.

How to Enter My Classroom:

I am using Canvas as the learning management system for both English I and English III.

Go to Perris Uninon High School's Home page and click on class link.

From there you will find Canvas and click on it.

Select my class, and click on it.  It will be one of the following:

  • English I - Stankus - Per. 1,2,3, 7

  • English III - Stankus - Per. 4,5

All the information for my class, instruction, assignments, and more will be found there.

Thank you!

Viviana Stankus
